Clinton Town Beach is a charming sandy beach at Clinton Harbor. Here, you'll have stunning views of Long Island Sound. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, or simply walking along the beach. Note that, depending on the time of year, you may be required to purchase a beach pass.

Cockaponset State Forest, the second largest state forest in Connecticut, is comprised of over 17,000 acres in Middlesex County and Haven County. The forest has over 20 miles of trails for hiking and, in some cases, biking and horseback riding. You can also enjoy swimming and fishing at Pattaconk Lake and rock climbing at Pine Ledge.

Gouveia Vineyards is located on 140 acres of pristine Connecticut countryside, and offers spectacular views of the surrounding woodlands. Wine tastings and cellar tours are offered most days of the week.

Hammonasset Beach State Park is one of the most popular attractions in Connecticut. Located on Long Island Sound, it is the largest shoreline park in the state. Here, you can enjoy camping, boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking. The park also contains a popular nature center, Meigs Point Nature Center.

Hubbard Park is a mountainous park, located in the Handing Hill of south central Connecticut. Here, you can enjoy flower gardens, streams, and scenic woodlands. The park has numerous hiking trails, biking trails, and backcountry skiing opportunities.

Oakdale Theatre, founded in 1954, is a multi-purpose performance venue, consisting of an auditorium and a domed theatre and capable of holding several thousand guests. A variety of entertainers perform at the theatre, and family-friendly entertainment is regularly offered.

Paradise Hills is a Tuscan-styled winery and vineyard, owned and operated the Ruggiero family and their close friends. They are open, daily, and no reservation is needed. You can even bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy onsite!
